How to guide
Step 1: Buy the clay. Or mix the red clay, white sand, and water together. Make sure that there is an equal amount of red clay and sand.
Step 2: Pound the clay out onto a table to get out any air pockets, because if you don't then when you fire your pottery, it will break.
Step 3: Start by making a round base using your finger and hand.
Step 4: Make coils, by rolling clay in between your hands or on a flat surface.
Step 5: Then wrap around the top part of the base you made.
Step 6: Smooth out the coils into the base connecting them together using a smoothing tool and water if needed.
Step 7: Once you have the shape desired, you can now let it dry till it hardens.
Step 8: Next, you can fire it or leave it as is.
